RenTA PORTAL is the tenant-facing mobile application connected to the RenTA AUTOBill platform. It is designed to help residents view bills, make payments, access invoices and rental records, track utility usage, submit support requests, receive reminders and announcements, and communicate with property staff.

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to personal data processed through RenTA PORTAL, including information submitted by tenants, residents, authorized occupants, or users acting on behalf of a property account.

2. Information We Collect

Information you or your property provide

  • Name, phone number, email address, room or unit reference, and related tenant profile information.
  • Account credentials and authentication information needed to sign in and secure your account.
  • Rental records made available through the service, such as bills, credits, invoices, receipts, balances, and contract-related files.
  • Support requests, ticket details, complaint records, chat messages, and service follow-up information.
  • Utility-related records such as electricity and water usage history where the property has enabled those features.
  • Payment references and transaction records generated when you pay or attempt to pay through supported payment workflows.

Information collected automatically

  • Device type, operating system, app version, IP address, language settings, log events, crash information, and diagnostic data.
  • Notification delivery and interaction events where push notifications or related service messaging are enabled.

3. How We Use Information

  • To create, maintain, and secure your account.
  • To display billing, balances, invoices, receipts, contract files, and usage records.
  • To facilitate payment workflows, confirm transaction status, and reconcile billing records.

We may share relevant data with the property owner, property operator, building management, or authorized administrative users who use RenTA AUTOBill to manage the property. We may also share data with service providers that support hosting, infrastructure, notifications, analytics, security, customer support, backup, or payment-related workflows. We do not sell personal data.

6. Data Retention

We retain tenant account, billing, transaction, support, communication, and operational records only for as long as reasonably necessary for service delivery, account administration, financial reconciliation, dispute handling, audit requirements, legal compliance, fraud prevention, and system security. When information is no longer required, we delete it, de-identify it, or anonymize it in accordance with our internal retention practices.

7. Your Rights and Choices

Subject to applicable law and platform obligations, you may request access to your personal data, request correction of inaccurate data, request deletion of certain records, or object to specific processing activities.
